Domestically Developed Agricultural Navigation Software for Parallel Driving

This application was developed throughout 2023-24 by software engineers and testers at SmiLab company from Smila, Cherkasy region.

The application incorporates six years of experience from SmiLab's engineers, marketers, and testers in the agricultural navigation market, and features the following functions and capabilities:

• Ability to test all available functions in the SmiLab-Agro program by launching a demo mode on a tablet or phone, with adjustable movement speed in demo mode.
• Display on screen or map with coverage area highlighting and calculation;
• Creation of parallel straight or curved lines, and navigation along these lines using colour indicators and deviation measurements in metres. Parallel lines can be saved and later reloaded. A particularly useful and convenient feature in the SmiLab-Agro program is the ability to shift parallel lines right or left during operation, with options to return to the initial position or move lines to the tractor cursor position.
• The boom width can be set to any size, and importantly, the sprayer width can be divided into separate sections of various sizes.
• The program offers several options for measuring field or land plot areas, such as driving around the perimeter or using boundary points, and even remotely using just the map, without needing to physically visit the field or plot. Fields and points can be saved and loaded. When measuring area by points, the program also calculates and displays the distance to all points shown on the map and direction to points (azimuth).
• The Smilab Agro program includes various measurable parameters such as speed and distance travelled since program launch or button press.
• Generation of reports with various parameters.
• A revolutionary and highly relevant feature in the SmiLab-Agro program is support for internet connection to RTK networks, which allows for dramatically improved accuracy (up to 2 cm) for precision farming or surveying work, such as marking boundary points of land plots or objects.
• Bluetooth connection to navigation equipment.
• 2D and 3D display modes.
• Various other functions such as compass, cursor centering, night and day operation modes, and more.
