History and Development of ASN-5203

The ASN-5203 agricultural navigation antennas from the Asn-Agro brand are products that effectively pioneered domestic Ukrainian agricultural navigation. The first samples of ASN-5203 navigation receivers were developed and went on sale in early 2016. These agricultural navigators transmitted information to tablets only via wired connection through the RS-232 interface.

At the end of 2016, ASN-5203 receivers were released that could transmit information to Android tablets via Bluetooth, using the Asn-Agro application developed by the same manufacturer. This application was improved over the next 6 years, with its latest release being version 4.7.

Technical Specifications and Advantages

The ASN-5203 antenna features a rather large robust construction. Inside, there is an RF antenna and a board with a Ublox navigation receiver. The Ublox navigation receiver became the first commercial navigation receiver capable of providing sufficient accuracy and stability in obtaining navigation data, which made it possible to begin using satellite navigation with free satellite navigation signals in the agricultural sector.

The RF antenna installed in the ASN-5203 uses dual-point feeding technology, which ensures the best accuracy in determining navigation parameters.

The ASN-5203 housing is made of high-quality, premium-grade robust polycarbonate, which is the best available material for housings designed for year-round outdoor use across all climatic temperature ranges, with the highest resistance to ultraviolet radiation exposure.

ASN-5203 antennas are manufactured in series in the city of Smila, Cherkasy region.
